Vanities & Storage
Vanities and storage that fit how you use the room
Replacing a vanity is one of the more contained bathroom updates. The supply and drain lines are already there, so the main questions are size, storage style and whether the plumbing lines up with the new cabinet.
Drawers usually beat doors for everyday storage, and a recessed medicine cabinet can do more than a bigger vanity. Tell us what you're thinking and we'll try to connect you with a professional.

Sizing
Measure wall width, the clearance in front of the vanity and how it meets the door and toilet. In narrow rooms, a shallower depth can make a noticeable difference.
Plumbing alignment
Drawer vanities need space around the trap. Some designs require the drain to be lowered or the trap rerouted — usually minor, but worth confirming.
Countertops and sinks
Quartz, solid surface and natural stone tops all work in bathrooms. Undermount sinks are easy to wipe; vessel sinks change the comfortable counter height.
Common questions
- Do I need a plumber to change a vanity?
- Reconnecting the sink is plumbing work. Requirements vary by scope; a licensed professional can tell you what applies.
